o mentor, my mentor

Dr. Nick (Griff) Waage, was my mentor once upon a time. In 2000, Nick lived with our family, in the basement, one summer during college. It was during that time, that Matt Moeckl, Mark Moeckl, and Nick were all working towards one common goal...to be Jonathan Palmer's mentor. I don't know if what was because of my older sister, Amy, who was SINGLE at the time, or if it was to get on Pastor Palmer's "good side." Regardless of motives, Nick was able to win the job as my mentor during the "oh so immpressionable" years of my life. However, Nick did not do so hot, to put it quite frankly, he failed. I wish I could say it didn't have an effect on me, but that was not the case. I was so hurt by being bounced around from mentor to mentor, that I almost felt like I was a less than perfect mentee. Now, after several years have gone by, with the Moeckl brothers trying to keep me on the straight and narrow, Nick is back. And he is back in full force. Today, Nick and his wife Danny, came up to Boston to spend the day with our family. Nick is at Yale's Post Dentistry School, and they live in East Haven, CT. After today, Nick is officially back at the helm of my mentorship. We had an awesome day with the Waage's, touring Boston and eating dinner on the harbor at The Chart House.

Hey, I know you're a busy college man now but let's get some new blogs, huh?! JK, I hope you're doing great and I can't wait to see you in just 2 days! It looks like they're calling for rain EVERY single day that we're going to be there!!! Please do some talking with the big MAN upstairs and see if we can get that changed. But in case it does rain, I guess we better think of some fun indoor activities - we've always got the mall of america, and I need to get mom something for her birthday but I want to have her pick it out. Love you! See you in about 60 hours! (can you tell I'm excited?)

hey bro, my purse was stolen with my phone and other things so I might be phone-less for awhile. Please pass the word to the family, I can be reached at work or at home. Hey, and please pray that whoever took it will be convicted and bring it back or that I will stumble upon it.
thanks, love you
