goin' home
In about four hours the train will be leaving from Minneapolis heading straight for Johnston. This weekend is going to be a reunion for the ages. Amy and Jeremy flew up last night into Des Moines and Grace and I are leaving today to meet them down in the Promised Land. I cannot wait, this is going to be a sweet weekend. We get to go golfing, see Bethany's band concert (I have never seen her play her clarinet), play tennis, eat fried dough, see Shrek 3, go mini-golfing, watch the U.S. Open (Grace loves golf tournaments ha), go to church together at 1st Assembly, and maybe even go on a hot date with Grace. It will be a nice four day weekend with the Bakers that is for sure. Stay tuned for some blogs during and following this weekend.

Have a great weekend. We can't wait to meet Grace, and I'm so jealous about the fried dough! What I wouldn't give for a piece of fried dough with powdered sugar....
My sister is having cravings:)
it was so much fun! thanks for taking the trip down....we never did get the fried dough, but that is so funny what Betsy said! You can tell she is pregnant!
love you,
amy
Jonathan,
So sorry we missed you last weekend,
we would have liked to have met Grace, and to have seen Amy and Jeremy.
Dan and I ended up going to early service, and then went to Bethany Mo. for a graduation for my cousin. She was valedictorian of her class.
Hope to see you next time.Matt had a nice time golfing with you and your Dad.

We felt very honored that you and Grace took time out of your busy schedule to visit us. Grace is a real sweetie and we all loved her.
After reading you most recent blogs I can understand why your cholesterol is high!ha Way too many rich foods-Grace you have to pester Jonathan to eat better.
