Ever since I the Lord called me to full time ministry, July 2006, I have been constantly watching numerous pastors like a hawk. Watching their every move and listening to their every word. I have tried to figure out who I am going to be like. While I have learned a lot from my observations and discussions with all of these pastors, I have learned something even greater. I have learned that I am going to be someone completely different than anyone else. God is going to use me and my personality to influence people and change lives. As I live each day trying my best to honor and please God with everything I say and do, the Lord will use my passions to place me in a situation that is a perfect fit for me. I do not have to know where I will be or what I will be doing five years from now because all I have to do is love Jesus and love people and God will take care of the rest. Patience will allow me to become who God wants me to be and not who Jonathan Palmer wants to be. Thank you Lord for giving me opportunities to learn more about balance and patience this summer.
