win or go home

About 30 minutes ago, the Phoenix Suns beat the Kobe and Lakers in LA to force a game seven. For the Suns, the previous two games have been "win or go home." And each time they have decided to win. Even Kobe's 50 point performance wasn't enough to finish off the Suns.
The NBA playoff's are on of my favorite times of the year in sports. 16 teams fighting for the right to be the World Champions. Superstars such as Wade, Kobe, Lebron, Nash, Carter, Shaq, Duncan, and the whole Pistons team, are showing off their array of talents and dominating Sportcenter's top plays. The fans are on their feet 90% of the game, cheering and praying for their respected teams to win. Everything is left on the floor when the buzzer sounds of an NBA playoff game. The passion and the intensity each player, coach, and team brings to the floor game in and game out is unique.
Maybe the reason I can't sleep right now is because I have longing desire to go to a Detroit Pistons playoff game. Or maybe it is actually because I have a nasty cough and I can't go more than 30 seconds without coughing. Either way it is almost 2:00 AM and I am up blogging and thinking about my 11:00 tee time tommorrow and whether or not I am going to "win or go home." Now where was I...zzz...zzz...zzz...zzz
