grandma clay is comin' to town

Well I finished up my Christmas shopping this morning. Today is Wednesday, my 7th day home from school, and besides church on Sunday, this is the first day I have woken up before noon. Aside from already being tired and it is only 1:00 PM, it was nice getting up and starting my day in the "AM."

Gram is here in Johnston now. You know how you can tell when Grandma Clay is in town?
  1. The house is never dark because the flash on her digital camera is always going.
  2. I am awakened by the sound of a 1940's, powder blue, out of tune, heavier than me, accordion.
  3. Santa Clause cookies are in sight, as well as over 500 daily vitamins and supplements.
  4. There are now two Clays in the house.
  5. The Gather's dropped in to thank their biggest fan as she is plays their top hits on her violin.
Currently I am preparing my outline for my talk at Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) tomorrow night. Jay Quick has asked me to share a little bit of the gospel with a Christmas message. I am looking forward to the opportunity, for it was during my sophomore to senior year at Johnston High School, that I was able to lead FCA.

Having Grandma Clay here is awesome and cannot wait for the Bakers to get here on Friday night. This blogging this is getting to be so much fun with all the family joining in. Thanks for everyone getting involved. I believe my dad will be getting a blog page very soon.
