customized internship: part two

Today I am at Life Time Fitness with my cousin Brad. Tuesdays are his out-of-the-office study day, and because Life Time has a wireless cafe, we are studying here. At lunch we may work out and hopefully study outside by the pool this afternoon if the sun comes out. We are reading, blogging, and preparing a message from Daniel chapter six, for Sunday. This is the third week of my "customized internship."

It was last summer I spent four weeks with my Uncle Doug in Ohio. That was my first customized internship and it was so beneficial that I wanted to try one again with Brad. The reason I call them customized is because they are with family members and not official. I am not doing them through North Central and they are not required. I have just chosen to take one month of my summer to gain some experience and learn from a couple of successful pastors. I have learned a lot from Brad in just this short time and am glad I decided to do a customized internship part two.
